Just slapped a buncha paint onto the first of two Valkyries.
First, I painted all the panels and parts that stuck out a dark red. Then I dry\brushed the entire model with a bright silver. Finally, I washed the entire model with a black wash.

Recently I’ve been 3D printing conversion parts for a pair of Valkyries I’m hoping to bring to a tournament soon. I really like the aesthetic of twin turbines for wings instead of the static wings that come with the kit so that’s what I’ve been working on. I recently posted this conversion on my Etsy store. On top of that, an article over at 3DPrintingIndustry.com was written up about my (then) unfinished conversion.
I ran some LEDs through the ducts in the wings and wired them inside of the plane. This is my first conversion with electronics involved and it was all very straightforward.
